【Reservation Period】
You can reserve lessons at your desired date and time from 2 days to 2 months in advance. (Japan time).

(e.g.) If today is May 3, reservations can be made for May 5 or later. (Reservations cannot be made for May 3 and May 4)

【Number of tickets required】
One lesson ticket is required per one lesson (50 minutes) reservation.
【Contact memo field】
If you have anything you would like to tell the instructor, such as the textbooks to be used or the content of the lesson, please write it in the "Contact Memo" field.
【Confirmation of Reservation Completion】
Please confirm that your reservation is reflected on the reservation inquiry screen. Also, please check if you have received a notification of reservation completion to your registered e-mail address.

【Free Cancellation】
Reservations can be cancelled in the reservation system up to 12 hours before the scheduled lesson start time.
【How to cancel a reservation】
Please cancel your reservation through the reservation system. You cannot cancel a lesson by phone, e-mail, contact form, or Skype.
【AbsencesIf】
If a student is absent, one lesson ticket will be deducted per lesson. (This includes absences due to illness, communication problems caused by the student, computer or internet equipment problems, etc.)
【Confirmation of Cancellation】
After you cancel your reservation, please check the Reservation Inquiry page to see if your cancellation has been reflected. Also, please check if a notification of cancellation has been sent to your registered e-mail address.

【Date and time cannot be changed】
Date and time cannot be changed. If you wish to change the date and time of the lesson, please cancel the lesson once on the reservation system and make a new reservation.Also, the date and time cannot be changed more than 12 hours before the lesson is scheduled to start for the student's own convenience.
【About Reservations】
If you cancel your reservation, we will accept a new reservation for the next two days and for the next two months.

【Reservation Method】
For children under 12 years old, please make a reservation for a lesson with a "Junior Lesson" compatible teacher.When making a reservation, please select "Junior (12 years old and under)" for the lesson condition in the reservation system.
【Children of junior high school age and older】
For children of junior high school age and older (13 years old and up), lessons are general lessons. Please make a lesson reservation through the regular reservation method.
【About teachers who are not available for junior lessonsr】
Lessons for children under 12 years of age are different from regular lessons in terms of teaching methods and materials. For this reason, it is not possible to reserve a lesson with a teacher who does not offer "junior lessons. If you reserve a lesson with a teacher who does not offer "Junior Lessons," we reserve the right to cancel your reservation.

【First Lesson】
As a rule, students do not need to prepare a textbook in advance for their first lesson. The teacher will prepare a textbook according to the student's level and give it directly to the student at the time of the lesson.
【Designated textbooks】
If you wish to use a designated textbook, please let us know the name of the textbook from the contact memo box when you make a lesson reservation.
【If you have other textbooks you would like to use】
Texts prepared by the participant may be used. In this case, please prepare the text you wish to use in data format (Word, image data, etc.) in advance. Please use Skype's file transfer function and hand the data directly to the instructor at the beginning of the lesson. Please send only the amount of text data that you will be able to complete within the lesson time on the day of the lesson.
【Requests that place a significant burden on the teacher】
Requests that place a significant burden on teachers (translation requests unrelated to learning Chinese, checking assignments outside of lesson time, creating textbooks beyond the scope of common sense, etc.) are strictly prohibited, regardless of the reason. We have established these rules because Chinese lessons are provided on a lesson-by-lesson basis. Please understand that we may charge an additional fee in the unlikely event that it is discovered.

【About expiration date】
Lesson tickets must be used before the expiration date. After the expiration date, unused lesson tickets will expire.
【Reservation for the date and time beyond the expiration date】
You may reserve a lesson for a date and time beyond the expiration date of your lesson ticket. In this case, you cannot cancel or change the date and time after the expiration date. Only the reserved lesson will be provided.
【Changing the date and time of a lesson when the expiration date has expired】
If a lesson has already been reserved and the lesson ticket has expired, it is not possible to change the date and time of the lesson. If you wish to change the date and time, please purchase a new lesson ticket, extend the expiration date, and make a new reservation.

(e.g.) If your lesson ticket is valid until May 15, 2013
●Before May 15, 2013
→All dates and times shown in the reservation system are available for reservation.
→You can cancel the lesson.
●After May 16, 2013 (after expiration date)
→You can take only the lessons you have reserved.
→You cannot cancel a lesson. 
→You cannot make a reservation for a lesson (nor can you change the date and time of the lesson).

【Extension of Usage Period by Purchasing Additional Lesson Tickets
Students may extend the validity of their existing lesson tickets by purchasing additional lesson tickets. However, even if a student extends the period of use by purchasing additional lesson tickets, the lesson tickets that have already expired will not be refunded. If a student does not take the next lesson within 180 days of the previous lesson (or within 180 days of the date the lesson ticket was issued), or if a student purchases an additional lesson ticket solely to extend the validity period of the lesson ticket, our Company will For proper operation and maintenance of the service, we reserve the right to temporarily refuse the purchase of additional lesson tickets until all the lesson tickets have been used or expired.

【The date and time that cannot be reserved on the system】
Due to the contract between the teacher and TCEC, we can only accept reservations for lessons from 2 days to 2 months in advance. This is in order to provide lessons that match each member's individual learning situation, to allow teachers sufficient time to prepare for lessons, and to provide services at a reasonable price. Therefore, we ask for your understanding and cooperation in refraining from making reservations for dates and times that are not available on the reservation system.
【Students who are late or absent for a lesson】
Whether or not the student attends the lesson, the teacher will remain online for 50 minutes from the start to the end of the lesson. If the student wishes to join the lesson in the middle of the lesson, he/she should contact the teacher directly via Skype.
If a student is absent (including illness, computer or communication device problems, etc.), one ticket will be deducted as if the student had attended the lesson. If a student is late for a lesson, the lesson will not be extended, made up, or the ticket will not be refunded.
Reservations and cancellations made through the teacher
To prevent problems, reservations, cancellations, and time changes are not made through teachers. Reservations, cancellations, and time changes made directly with a teacher will not be reflected in the reservation system, and the reservation itself will be considered invalid. Please be aware of this.
【The rule prohibiting personal contact outside of lesson time】
The Terms of Use prohibit any personal contact between teachers and students outside of lesson time. This includes not only contacting students via Skype, but also exchanging phone numbers, email addresses, SNS (Facebook, Twitter, etc.), messengers, and other contact information. Please note that if any violations are found, they will be dealt with in accordance with the Terms of Service.
